Alibaba in pact with airport in Shanghai
Alibaba Group Holding Ltd has inked a strategic partnership with the Shanghai Airport Authority on June 16 for cooperation in information services, cloud computing, mobile payment, big data and aviation logistic services.
Li Derun, president of Shanghai Airport Authority, said the tie-up is an alliance between industry heavyweights and the aviation group will leverage Alibaba's Internet resources to build online-to-offline business zones around Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao international airports.
