Chongqing General Aviation Industrial Group recently signed a cooperation agreement with Xinjiang Manasi county and Xinjiang Beishan Tourism Company on general aviation and tourism development,liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

With a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, the project will purchase 20 Enstrom 480B-G helicopters and build a general airport and tourist distribution center. By May 1, 2016, the first two helicopters will be into operation.

Huang Yong, president of Chongqing General Aviation Group, noted that the purchase will promote structural adjustment in local aviation. It will also improve emergency rescue, fire control, and sight-seeing in Xinjiang.

The Group signed the first leasing project, and is regarded as an effective step in leveraging finance in the aviation market.

The aviation industry in Liangjiang New Area is integrating infrastructure construction, manufacturing and operation and services.
