Forum plots path for smart parks held in E-town

A forum on innovation and development of smart parks was held in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (E-town) on April 20, paving the way for the upgrading and development of industrial parks all over China, local media reported.
Supported by the China Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration Association, the forum came at a time when industrial parks are seeking transformation into smart parks.
A report regarding the status quo and development of smart parks in China was released at the forum. It explained the history of smart parks and discussed their future direction in detail.
The report took E-town as a typical example of an industrial zone’s transformation into a smart park, explaining the employment of intelligent services in the area.
