On July 27 Mondelēz International announced it will enter China's chocolate market. The company will bring Mika chocolate, which is popular in Europe, to China by September.

Mondelēz International, a leading worldwide chocolate enterprise, has the Milka, Cadbury, Cote d'Or and Toblerone brands among its assets.

"The Chinese chocolate market has great potential. Although its consumption is lower than emerging market standards, we will creatively attract more consumers to promote the development of chocolate products," said company representative Tim Cofer.
