Guilin Liangjiang Airport opened in Liuzhou on July 24 to promote new aviation products. This summer, passengers taking regular trains, high-speed rails or bullet trains to Guilin in order to get on a plane can apply for reimbursement and take the shuttle bus to Guilin Liangjiang Airport for free.

It was part of Guilin Liangjiang Airport’s summer promotion to boost Guilin’s tourism.

Liuzhou residents can take a round-trip bus from Liuzhou to Guilin Liangjiang Airport for free if they buy a round-trip plane ticket issued by East Shanghai Airways or Air China. Another service is that passengers can take a shuttle bus from Guilin Railway Station to Guilin Liangjiang Airport for free. An upper limit of 50 yuan reimbursement is also offered if passengers have a rail ticket to Guilin and a plane ticket from Guilin.

A person in charge of Guilin Liangjiang Airport said the airport releases special offers in peak season, which can help increase passenger flow in the slow season.
