Backed by the Chengdu High-tech Zone, the Small and Medium Enterprises Finance Forum?has been?held in Chengdu, the capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province.

Drawing deputies from government offices, enterprises and the fields of science, technology, finance and research institutes from different parts of the country, the forum held last Thursday discussed problems pertaining to development of small and medium enterprises in the country.

Accounting for more than 90 percent of the country's firms, small and medium enterprises are the most dynamic driving force of the market economy. But many of them face the problems of fund-raising, some deputies said.
