 A doctor inserts a microchip with a needle beneath a dog's skin on May 16, 2011, in Guangzhou, Guangdong province. A new rule states that dog owners in Guangzhou must have a microchip inserted beneath the skin of their dogs to strengthen the control of dogs in the city. The chip provides information about the dog's date of birth, health conditions and vaccination history and records the name and address of its owner. [Photo/CFP]
