The second tropical storm Conson is heading towards south China’s Hainan province, Quanzhou Evening News reported Monday. The storm, developed from a tropical depression, took shape over the Pacific near the Philippines at 8 a.m. Monday. Moving at 20 to 25 miles an hour, it is estimated to arrive at the South China Sea around Wednesday evening and bring precipitation to the thirsty Hainan province.[Photo/CFP] |
