CHANGCHUN - A Naked Pig Skiing Carnival was held at the Lotus Mountains ski resort of northeast Chinese Changchun City, capital of Jilin Province Saturday.

More than 1,000 skiers joined the party, wearing underpants and bikinis or costuming as Avatar, Kungfu Panda to ski. The skiers also performed single-line skiing and snowboarding on a frozen pool.

"It is my first time to play in this kind of carnival and it is really entertaining," said Shen Lidong, a skier who dressed up as Hua Mulan, a Chinese heroine who joined an all-male army in place of her father.

"I think it's funny to wear like Mulan and the dress made everybody laugh," he added.

The tourists reveled with beer, BBQ and snow disco after skiing.

Naked Pig Skiing Carnival was originated in the Crested Butte Mountain Resort of Colorado, the United States. The skiers ski as spring comes, wearing bizarre dresses or swimming suits and even naked, giving a send-off to the skiing.
