Better to start early, and teach the economy. If we teach kids now, it is going to be much better in the long run, because they will know which company to invest in, when to sell stocks, and they are going to be very financially successful. On top of that, you are teaching them an important lesson that will be used in the real world.

I’ve lived in China for quite a considerable time including my graduate school years, travelled and worked in a few cities and still choose my destination taking into consideration the density of smog or PM2.5 particulate matter in the region.
