ZEN and the power of laughter

Combining acrobatics, pantomime and a wry sense of humor, the new play ZEN is sure to cross language barriers and tickle your funny bone.

The comedic talents in this Chul-ki Choi production show a great capacity for mischief and dramatic timing.

The show, set in ancient China, starts with a group of construction workers laboring on the maintenance of an old temple. An accident happens on the highest floor, and humor and chaos ensues.

The performers, all professional acrobats, perform in a funny way but their dance techniques are also extraordinarily impressive.

To make the play life-like, the props - including bricks, hammers, buckets and electric saws - are all real, and wielded by the performers as balls, secret weapons and masks.
