Updated: 2008-08-14 08:20  Eric Shanteau, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer just before the US Olympic trials but put off surgery until after the Games, was eliminated in the 200m breaststroke semifinals. He finished sixth in his semifinal heat and 10th overall, in 2 min 10.10 sec, 13-hundredths of a second out of the last spot into the final.
