A job fair was held at the Majinpu Community committee within the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone in Kunming, Yunnan province, on March 10.

Eight companies in the Zone in different fields, including Kunming Aquatic Science Co and Wahaha Food and Beverage Co, took part in the job fair offering more than 300 positions for job seekers.

Nearly 80 villagers found proper jobs on the spot.

The job fair was held by the administrative committee of the Zone, aiming at helping local peasants who have lost their land with their employment difficulties.
