Land No KCG2013-22 of the Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone was sold on July 30 by online auction. This was the first online land sale in Yunnan province.

The buyer participated in the auction without leaving his office. After the successful purchase, the buyer also received instantly a sales confirmation over the Internet. The land itself covers 28,000 square meters. It is planned, according to the buyer, to construct a new materials R&D center.

The online auction of state-owned land for construction was held by Kunming's land trading center.
