Developing modern agriculture with high technology has become the target of Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone.

Dong Baotong, the zone's general management director, visited a botanic garden managed by Kunming Yang Chinese Rose Gardening Co. to learn from their experience of agricultural park construction, planning, design and implementation, and to gain knowledge of flower varieties, research and cultivation.

Dong and his team paid attention to the cultivation of flower varieties, growing scales, related products manufacture and the managerial system.

Kunming Yang Chinese Rose Gardening Co. is a leading enterprise in the industry, and the intellectual property owner of a group of flower varieties. Their Southern Hemisphere Botanic Garden in Yuanjiang county of Yuxi city, mainly introduces species from the southern hemisphere and carries out artificial cultivations.

Dong said agriculture development in Kunming must take climate factors into account, which will be on the priority list of further development of modern agriculture in the zone.
