As the water science industries develop in the Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone, the Aquatic Science Park should devote itself to attracting investment.

Kunming's high-tech development zone has formed a complete investment attraction system based on the overall planning and development needs in the Aquatic Science Park. Already the park has introduced Yunnan Water Industry Investment and Development Co Ltd, Fengyuan Water Limited, Bishuiyuan (Origin Water) Science and Technology Co Ltd, Central Jinze Science and Technology Co Ltd, and a number of national and provincial water technology leading enterprises.

The park has also had a clean water source membrane technology industrial base, Dianchi Lake water Environment Monitoring Centre, and Central Jinze environment protection equipment base and a number of key projects. Moreover, a number of projects, such as Bokai large terminal water purification equipment industrial base, and Senger smart water meter industrial base, will soon be established.

Kunming Water Aquatic Park's infrastructure; water technology commercialization and community service projects; and advanced water technology application and trail projects are already in the zone.

The park provides preferential policies of tax and land use.
