Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region’s first promotional team for earthquake awareness and risk reduction was established at the Toutunhe Economic and Technological Development Zone in Urumqi on July 1, reported by Weitai News.
The 55-member team will help raise public awareness of what they should do if there are caught in an earthquake, as well as enhancing disaster response and relief efforts.
