The first stage of the construction of the Tai Chi Lake Ecological and Cultural Tourist Area, a part of the planned Tai Chi Lake Tourist Area, was recently completed. The project has already received an investment of 100 million yuan ($ 16.28 million) and meets international planning standards under the guidance of about 1,000 experts.

Covering an area of 80 square kilometers, and with an expected total investment of over 20 billion yuan ($ 3.26 billion), the Tai Chi Lake Tourist Area will consist of New City Zone, the Ecological and Cultural Tourist Area and over 180 projects aimed at attracting visitors.
