Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, is currently promoting garbage sorting in hospitals and planning to build demonstrative units in seven hospitals, according to the Shenyang health commission.

The seven hospitals are the First People’s Hospital of Shenyang, the 4th People’s Hospital of Shenyang, the 6th People’s Hospital of Shenyang, the Shenyang Maternity and Child Health Hospital, the Shenyang Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the Shenyang Children’s Hospital, and the Shenyang Mental Health Center.

The aforementioned hospitals have already introduced garbage sorting equipment and special areas for housing hazardous waste. They have also established work teams.
