The 2018 Shengjing Bank Shenyang International Marathon will be held in Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Sept 9.

The race has been successfully held for the past three years, and the marathon attracts a large number of participants, while promoting Shenyang’s national and international profile.

This year’s event will include a full marathon (42.195 kilometers), a half-marathon (21.0975 km), a 10km run, and a mini-marathon (around 4 km) for families and couples to run together.

It is estimated that 20,000 runners will take part in this year’s event.

A total of 1,200 volunteers from Shenyang Jianzhu University and Shenyang Sport University are currently training for the event, where they will offer their services to 20,000 runners.

Services include carrying belongings, giving out water and fruit, as well as clothing to runners. They will also assist participants with signing in for the event, especially those under 16.
