To arrive by car, the route is as follows: Begin in Jinzhong——Wusu of Taiyuan and take the Datong-Yuncheng Expressway——exit the expressway at Xinzhou stop——Dingxiang county——Wutai county——Rucun village——to arrive in Mount Wutai (244 kilometers and 3.35 hours of driving time in total)

If you go to Mount Wutai by bus, first go to Taiyuan by bus or by train, and then go to Mount Wutai by bus from the East Taiyuan Terminal (the journey takes five hours).
