Shanxi University held a teaching competition for young teachers, on Nov 4.

Forty-eight young teachers from 24 schools and departments passed the preliminary competition and took part in the final.

The competition fell into three groups based on participants’ research fields, including liberal arts, science and technology, and engineering.

Students were also invited to grade the teachers’ performance. The indicators included lesson planning, teaching and marking.

Three teachers selected from the three groups shared the first prize.
