The first Shanxi Popular Sports Expo opened in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, on June 1, to stimulate young people's enthusiasm for sports and promote the coming second National Youth Games in 2019.
Covering an area of 7,000 square meters, the three-day expo includes exhibition areas for ball games, roller skating, parkour and tae kwon do, as well as the opportunity to experience activities such as double Dutch and yoga.
