The Russian Academy of Arts, a world-leading arts college, held its second enrollment examination for Shanxi leg in Taiyuan on Jan 12.
In 2017, the academy set up an examination site in Yilong Arts School in Taiyuan, offering Shanxi students a direct channel to pursue advanced studies in Russia and polishing their professional skills and knowledge in arts.
The tests were still conducted based on the standards and subjects of the Russian Academy of Arts for talent selection.
Founded in 1757, the Russian Academy of Arts from where many renowned artists like the realist painter Ilya Yefimovich Repin and romantic painter Ivan Aivazovsky graduated focuses on developing Russian fine arts, decorative art, architecture and design and cultivating professionals in arts.
