There was a "red" calligraphy and painting exhibition, on June 17, in the Eighth Route Army Taihang Memorial Hall, in the county of Wuxiang, Shanxi province, in hopes that the display and exhibition will promote the study of the Eighth Route Army and the culture surrounding it.
Hosting the opening ceremony was Zhao Dexin, vice-chairman of county's People's Political Consultative Conference.
