The 2014 Shanxi International Lantern Festival, the region's largest, is set to take place in the Taiyuan Coal Trading Center, in the city of Taiyuan, Shanxi province, Jan 28 - Feb 23, with three parts -- an International Lantern Exhibition, Shehuo Festival, and International Dinosaur Exhibition.
It will also have various activities such as an opening ceremony and some amazing cultural heritage performances with, for example, Shanxi drums, and dragon and lion dances.
