At the 11th Sino-Nigerian Business and Investment Forum, in the Continental Hotel of Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province, on Sept 23, Sheng Dianqing, the vice-secretary-general of the provincial government, addressed the opening ceremony, where he said that economic and trade cooperation between Shanxi and Africa has seen continued growth and has helped Shanxi’s social and economic development. Sheng also said he hopes the forum will help promote further cooperation.
Mustafa Bellow, the executive secretary of Nigeria Investment Promotion Committee (NIPC), described the investment environment of Nigeria for interested Chinese companies.
The event was sponsored by the Shanxi provincial commerce department.
