The Qingxu county, near the city of Taiyuan, Shanxi province, has been referred to as the "Capital of Vinegar and Homeland of Grapes" for a long time because of its more than 2,500–year history of grape growing. The county’s age-old fermentation method preserves the fragrance and nutrition of what has been called the best vinegar in the nation.
