Shanxi province exported a total of 131,663 tires in Q1, for a year-on-year increase of 19.42 percent, a new record for tire exports.
The tire quality was also improved, thanks to some motivation by Shanxi’s leading enterprises such as Double Happiness Tyre. The rapid export increase for tires has had a great impact on Shanxi’s manufacturing and its global image.
The Shanxi Import and Export Inspection Bureau says that it has made an effort to increase tire exports by providing technical information for companies, giving them some guidance in improving their quality, and in encouraging them to improve R&D and the product system.
