The Le Meridien Sheshan Shanghai Hotel in Sheshan National Tourist Resort announced on April 2 that its children's park "Squirrel Kingdom" has opened to the public.

The name "Squirrel Kingdom" comes from the real-life squirrels that inhabit the hotel's garden to the delight of children.

Covering around 700 square meters, it is one of the largest children's park of any five-star hotel of Shanghai. With three themed areas namely "Happy Glacier", "Forest Adventure" and "Polar World" featuring different styles, the park provides a great range of fun for hotel guests.

The Le Meridien Sheshan Shanghai Hotel is located next to several scenic spots like Shanghai Happy Valley, Chenshan Botanical Garden and Moon Lake Sculpture Park. There is a kids' club inside the hotel and an outdoor children recreation area including a swimming pool for children. Specially designed children rooms are decorated with cartoon characters and equipped with family interactive entertainment facilities.
