A patriotism-themed painting and calligraphy exhibition kicked off at Lujiazui art gallery in Pudong New Area of Shanghai on Nov 11, with more than 200 people attending the opening ceremony.

A total of 130 paintings and calligraphy works are on display, 70 of which are by Weilai Wudao, vice president of the Overseas Chinese Painting Academy of China.
