Art enthusiasts in the coastal city of Qingdao will be treated to an oil painting exhibition of Zhu Zhuo, which sets to open at the Qingdao Municipal Museum from Nov 19 to 23.

More than 30 oil paintings created by Zhu Zhuo will be on display, covering the finest works of Zhu's career on subjects such as flowers, birds, landscapes and figures.

By combining western painting techniques with the impressionistic style of traditional Chinese paintings, Zhu's creations are fresh and natural in color with a tranquil elegant disposition. The technical facility of his painting is equally poetic and delicate.

Zhu Zhuo, whose ancestral home is in Rizhao, Shandong province now settles in Shenzhen where he is well-known as a contemporary Chinese painter.

This exhibition will be toured across the Shandong Peninsula.
