Construction of the Theme Pavilion and Botanical Pavilion for the 2014 Qingdao International Horticultural Exhibition has been progressing smoothly. The Theme Pavilion is currently undergoing interior decoration. Glass walls are also being installed in the Botanical Pavilion. Gathering in the Chinese Garden, 50 exhibitors from 34 provincial administrative regions have all confirmed participation in the exhibition.

The construction of the Theme Pavilion and Botanical Pavilion are expected to be completed by September. Planting in the Chinese Garden will be finished this spring. After landscape engineering and major construction comes to an end, the Chinese Garden will start trial operations. On April 25, 2014, the Chinese Garden will be open to public.
