A special railway train carrying 20 containers set off for Yanji on Oct 26 from Dandong Port, marking the opening of sea and railway combined transport from Dandong Port to Yanji.
Dandong Port has worked hard to develop sea and railway combined transport by taking the advantage of the operating rail line in the eastern part of Northeast China's Liaoning province.
The combined transport system connecting Dandong Port and Harbin, Kiamusze and Baoquan Ling has already been put into operation, Dandong Daily reported.
