Liaoning Shougang Boron Iron Co Ltd is a conglomerate involved in mining, selecting, uranium hydrometallurgy and boron chemical engineering.
It owns Liaoning Fengcheng Wenquangou Boron Iron Mine, the largest boron iron mine in Asia. The mine has a known reserve of 283 million tons, or 58 percent of China's total known solid boron reserve. It also has other associated minerals such as boron, magnesium, iron and uranium, and is a valuable mineral resource.
