Liuzhou holds largest job fair
The city of Liuzhou in South China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region recently held this year’s largest job fair in a bid to help more college graduates get a job.
More than 5,000 job positions were offered by local companies in Liuzhou and companies outside Liuzhou at the fair on July 28. Sales, manufacturing and marketing were the top three sectors with the most job openings.
Dozens of well-known Liuzhou companies, including Guangxi Liuzhou Iron and Steel (Group) Co and LiuGong Machinery Co, took part in the job fair.
In order to help recent graduates, the Liuzhou local government asked each company to hire at least one new graduate this year.
The Liuzhou human resource center is going to hold five job fairs from Aug 3 to 10.
