World tourist summit opens in Jilin

On June 27, China‘s Jilin province is hosting its first Changbai Mountain Summit for the establishment of the "World Top Tourist Town Alliance" to explore the idea of harmonious development between livelihood and tourism.

The first summit will establish T20, "World Top Tourist Town Alliance", sponsored by twenty tourist towns from home and abroad, including Davos, Switzerland; Giethoorn, Netherlands; Lake Como, Italy; Wuzhen, China, and also the host city, Erdao River.

Erdao River Town, which is located at the foot of Changbai Mountain, gained its reputation as a livable environment surrounded by rivers, mountains and forests.
