Jilin province has gotten its first invoice business handled electronically, in the city of Changchun, the provincial capital, on May 20.

The e-invoice is now only available at Suning Cloud Sales Company, an online store of household appliances in the city and the first pilot shop set up in the province.

Customers shopping here can get the e-invoice, which uses less energy, is easier to do, easier to keep, and helpful in managing taxes than the traditional paper invoice. A Jilin official from the State Administration of Taxation in charge of the project said that customers could download an invoice anytime from the shop's website, using the App in their cell phone, or in their registered e-mail account.
