Crackers and fireworks will be banned in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, during the Spring Festival from Feb 18 to March 5 to prevent air pollution and ensure safety. The area within the second Ring Road will be affected by the ban.

The public will be informed about the ban via media platforms, paper notifications and LED screens. To ensure full implementation during the festival, the city government has also requested round-the-clock safety watch around the banned areas.
