In November 2009, the State Council approved Wuxi as a national innovation and demonstration area for wireless sensor network. Wuxi New District has formed a cloud computing industrial distribution, featuring hardware, platform and application. IOT has become an emerging industry crucial for the industrial upgrading and transformation. A cluster of IOT research institutes and developed integrated circuit and software industries will pave the way for further IOT development in Wuxi New District.
