The ninth China Baotou Rare Earth Industry Forum will take place in the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 28, aimed at promoting global cooperation and exchanges in related trade, manufacturing, research and applications, reports Baotou Daily.

Under a theme of rare earths, new materials and innovation, the forum will discuss the development status quo of the rare earth industry and its future direction.

Also, policies and industry news will be released at the forum.
