The Tumd Right Banner of Inner Mongolia, which is under Baotou city administration and is an important banner of economic belt development, is working with the Huilin Group of Datong, Shanxi Province in increasing coal cooperation, according to an Aug 3 Baotou Evening News report.

The banner already has long-term cooperation agreements with many corporations to take advantage of its abundant coal, mirabilite, and kaolin resources and the Huilin deal will provide the first online coal trading platform in Inner Mongolia and is expected to promote greater cooperation and coal exchanges.

Fan Yawu, chairman of Huilin, says they will put 380 million yuan ($57.3 million) into the platform work, which will be carried out in three phases.
