Ruzhou signed four projects worth 10 billion yuan ($1.63 billion) on the opening day of the Central China Expo 2013 on May 18.
More than 30,000 business people from around 90 countries and regions attended the opening ceremony of the expo in the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center of Henan province.
Ruzhou is promoting 16 programs and welcoming investment at the expo. Many companies are displaying materials and products in different exhibition zones.
The city signed four projects that afternoon. They include a cold-chain logistics program with an investment of 2.5 billion yuan, a ruzhou porcelain culture park program worth $500 million, a wine processing base worth $150 million and a humic acid urea production program worth 3 billion yuan.
