The 2nd "Social Security Cup" painting and calligraphy exhibition was recently held by the Ruzhou municipal publicity department at the Porcelain Museum in Ruzhou city.
The exhibition was one part of the Spring Lantern Festival activities that aim to promote the communication of painting and calligraphy art to further develop the history and culture of Ruzhou city. Ninety pieces were shown at the exhibition, including 25 traditional Chinese paintings and 60 Chinese calligraphy works. The exhibition is on for 6 days, from Feb 3 to Feb 8, and is open to the public for free. Some of the authors and artists are national and municipal Calligraphy Association members.
