The magnificent Middle Binyang Cave

In the center of the caisson ceiling of the cave is a lotus flower with multiple petals, surrounded by eight musical apsaras (feitians) and two attending apsaras holding such musical instruments as xin, panpipe, zheng, tongbo, sheng, flute, yuanxian and waist drum. On the edges of the well are painted beautiful designs of various kinds including veins and tassels. All these form a large and colorful dome with magnificent decorations.
