The 24th National Book Fair, which will start on 1 August, is going to hold 150 activities and in one activity – the "Reader Conference" – many famous writers and scholars including Wang Meng, Wu Jinglian, Jia Pingao, and Su Tong will attend and interact with 1000 readers, according to the 24th Book Fair Organizing Committee.
There will be eight "Red Couch Interviews" inviting celebrities to share stories with readers during the book fair. Meanwhile, famous writers such as Ye Xin, and Ye Yonglie will undertake book signings for their new books.
