The Guanshan district government, of Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province, released its fiscal report on Wednesday. According to the report, Guanshan district’s fiscal revenue for the first half of 2014 reached 2.46 billion yuan ($ 395.8 million), which takes the leading position among all districts and counties in Guiyang city.
Facing the tough economic situation of tightening and slowing down, Guanshan district has come up with strategies to boost the economy, including construction of industrial parks, encouragement of the real economy, the Guizhou Financial Center and Southwest Trade Center projects, as well as being a driving force in the district’s exhibition industry.
