The Anshun-Liupanshui Railway, Guizhou province's first inter-city railway is currently under construction.
The section in Liuzhi special region, constructed by China Railway No 5 Engineering Group, was completed on Dec 12.
The 124-kilometer railway connecting Anshun and Liupanshui city is designed for high-speed trains running 250 kilometers per hour. The construction started in November 2015 and is expected to finish before the end of 2019.
