The 2017 National Track and Field Championships kicked off at the Guiyang Olympic Sports Center in Guizhou province on June 25.
More than 40 teams, including 1300 athletes, coaches and referees from across the country, attended the national games.
It's the first time for Guizhou to host a national track and field competition. The province sent 20 athletes to compete for the medals, with Guizhou-born Yan Wei taking the crown in the men's 5000-meter final.
The three-day competition is the last national track and field competition before the World Track and Field Championships to be held in London this August.
