A cliff stone carving exhibition opened in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Sept 26.
According to the exhibition sponsor, Dunhuang Sutra and objects from Xi'an's Stele Forest museum will be displayed. The cliff stone carvings will also be displayed with photographs and illustrations to help visitors better understand the images on the stone reliefs.
The ancient stone carvings, based on their shapes, are mainly divided into steles, stone reliefs, cliff inscriptions, epigraphs and statues.
The exhibition is free of charge and will open to the public on Oct 7.
